Job Description

We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Lead who will own the mid- to long-term commercial strategy to drive market sales and margin growth. As a central figure in the commercial development of the business, this position requires a highly collaborative mindset and strong partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Commercial Excellence Lead, you play a critical role in executing the customer engagement strategy and leading both sell-in (net revenue) and sell-out (retail) sales planning, supported by robust commercial analysis of trading performance across omni-channels. The ideal candidate will support the execution of channel and retailer strategies, while identifying new commercial opportunities to maximize growth across all channels. A key focus will also be on driving retail excellence in stores and counters, particularly in customer service and operational execution. The role plays a critical part in commercial planning, including forward sales and event planning with accurate stock forecasting to support business initiatives.

You will be reporting to Country Head, and you will manage:

Drive service excellence

  • Champion a service excellence ethos
  • Drive customer loyalty with effective CRM program, by analyzing the data from EPOS & work closely with Marketing
  • Drive service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate organisation for business excellence
  • Implement effective commission and incentive schemes to drive selling behaviours
  • Develop operational and store teams for service excellence

Drive innovation and productivity aspirations

  • Implement retailer and door segmentation with corresponding business model strategy
  • Develop productivity road map to maximise staff and store productivity
  • Drive a culture that encourages productivity and innovation
  • Evaluate effectiveness of implemented innovation and productivity initiatives

Drive operational excellence

  • Develop operational plans to support achievement of business and financial KPIs
  • Drive enterprise resource planning system
  • Evaluate financial performance
  • Evaluate processes to improve operational performance

Key Account Planning and Management

  • Create trust-based business relationships with key clients
  • Expand the business relationships with present clients by continuously executing solutions that meet their business goals
  • Develop keen understanding of key clients marketplace, strategies, customer profile
  • Responsible for Business development project, leading the PM request and alignment with Marketing team

Execution of 360 launch and animation strategy

  • Owns the Omnichannel sales/event plan across all channels in the market, in line with the global promo guidelines / best practices.
  • Implement effective mechanics to drive business KPIs – sales and profitability
  • Follow through on 360 plan and provide weekly commentaries, conduct post-mortem to measure effectiveness of 360 plan
  • Derive key learning from analyses to keep sharpening commercial frameworks and strategy planning

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to make a difference. As a Commercial Excellence Lead, you will share your valuable experience with the team, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years Sales experience in Beauty, Luxury, and/or Consumer Goods, and at least 5 years in management/ leadership capacity.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Resilient and flexible, adapts to new challenges
  • Experience in developing and managing forecasts
  • Excellent presentation, communication and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in Thai and English
