Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager (Bangplee area)
Reports to: Head of Finance
Overview
This role sits at the intersection of finance and business, responsible for driving performance visibility, delivering commercial insights, and supporting decision-making across a regional portfolio. The position combines financial planning, analysis, and business partnering with a strong focus on profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct profitability analysis across customers, products, and channels to identify key drivers
- Assess pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and overall commercial performance
- Support business cases, new initiatives, and investment decisions with financial insights
- Evaluate cost structures and operational efficiency to improve margins
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities to influence business outcomes
- Prepare and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Oversee and develop junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency of outputs
- Build a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation and better use of tools
- Strengthen planning and forecasting models to support scenario analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment across reporting platforms
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 68 years experience in financial planning, commercial finance, or business analysis
- Background in consumer-driven or operationally complex industries preferred
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills; experience with data visualization tools is advantageous
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
