Discovering the role
- Drive robust project planning and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient delivery of hyperscale data center projects.
- Provide accurate, data-driven visibility on project progress, critical path, and key risks to support informed decision-making.
- Enable seamless cross-functional coordination to maintain alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Strengthen project governance by ensuring adherence to schedules, reporting standards, and execution milestones across multiple concurrent projects.
Main Objectives:
- Perform in-dept knowledge for commissioning, troubleshooting for hardware and software of security system and problem-solving to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Maintain strong technical proficiency in Convergint standards, systems, and technologies, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

- Expenses. (Taxi, over time, losses, etc.)
- No. of projects involved.
- Size of projects (revenue)
- Training (hours)
- Technical ability
- Professional development
Major responsibilities include:
- Ensure delivering high-quality engineering, commissioning, and service support in line with Convergint standards and policies.
- Perform system design and prepare programing sheet, technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation.
- Conduct system testing & commissioning (hardware and software), including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with supervisors, internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and third parties.
- Review and supervise all equipment setup and wiring to ensure compliance with product manuals and Convergint commissioning standards.
- Perform Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and ensure systems meet project specifications.
- Provide on-site client training and technical guidance.
- Ensure quality of Convergint services following company standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
- Attend internal training, improve skills.
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, and or Telecommunication.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Project Engineer preferably in a multinational environment.
- Possess basic knowledge in security hardware, network, and database.
- Experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to Lenel, Gallagher, Genetec, Axis systems is a clear advantage.
- Display a quick learning ability and a strong focus on client service.
- Demonstrate good English communication and coordination skills.
