About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Commodity Manager PCB to lead sourcing strategy and supplier management for Printed Circuit Boards across Thailand and the APAC region. This role is part of the Global Commodity Cluster PCB, working closely with international procurement, engineering, and quality teams to ensure a competitive, reliable, and sustainable supply base.
The position plays a key role in developing supplier strategies, managing RFQ and negotiations, monitoring PCB market trends, and driving cost optimization initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with global stakeholders while strengthening relationships with key suppliers across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PCB sourcing strategy and supplier development across Thailand and APAC
- Manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation
- Coordinate RFQ processes, cost benchmarking, and price negotiations to achieve global procurement targets
- Monitor PCB market trends and supplier risk management
- Support supplier audits, assessments, and quarterly business reviews
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on technical changes and supplier improvements
- Act as a first escalation point for suppliers in China and Asia
- Support global procurement initiatives and cross-regional sourcing strategies
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in PCB manufacturing, sourcing, sales, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, cost structures, and supply markets in Asia
- Ability to analyze supplier strategies and market dynamics
- Experience with RFQ management, commercial negotiations, and supplier performance management
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC, RoHS, UL, TS16949, or VDA is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Gerber files
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills in an international environment
- Experience working with global or European organizations is preferred
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and procurement systems
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
