This is a Payroll specialist role at its core, with broad ownership across HR operations. You will own monthly payroll across all employee types, the statutory side of benefits, all policy and contract work, and government compliance — while partnering with the HR Manager on Employee Relations.

What You'll Do
1. Payroll Operations
- Own end-to-end monthly payroll across all employee types.
- Operate HR and payroll systems as the primary tools — ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, and an efficient monthly workflow.
- Serve as the key point of contact in working with the company's Payroll Outsource provider.
- Ensure all statutory deductions and year-end tax obligations are accurate and on time.
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for all payroll matters within the company.
2. Employee Benefits
- Administer statutory and salary-linked benefits aligned with Thai labor law.
- Manage statutory benefit renewals and end-of-service settlements.
- Coordinate with the colleague who owns customized and campaign-based benefits to ensure a coherent total benefit experience.
3. Employee Relations
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with care and discretion.
- Conduct fact-finding and case documentation; recommend resolution paths to the HR Manager.
- Support disciplinary processes with appropriate procedural compliance under Thai labor law.
4. Policy Design & Contract Administration
- Receive briefs from leadership; own the full lifecycle from design to employee announcement.
- Translate executive policy briefs into clear, well-designed policies; own the full lifecycle of design, execution, and announcement.
- Manage employment and outsource contracts; coordinate with the Legal team on amendments and term changes.
- Ensure both policies and contracts remain consistent with company direction and Thai labor law.
5. Government & Statutory Compliance
- Serve as primary liaison with the Social Security Office (SSO), Revenue Department, and Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW).
- Ensure full compliance with Thai labor and tax regulations.
- Stay ahead of regulatory change and update internal practices accordingly.
6. HR Team Collaboration
- Understand how HR processes connect across functions and contribute to a coherent employee experience.
- Contribute to central HR initiatives and cross-functional projects led by other team members.
- Support HR teammates on shared work and team-wide deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of Payroll specialist experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Thai labor and tax regulations (Labor Protection Act, Social Security Act, Revenue Code).
- Experience handling all employment types: Permanent, Freelance, Contract, and Outsource.
- Hands-on experience with employment and outsource contracts.
- Experience handling Employee Relations cases.
- Track record of designing and rolling out HR policies.
- Experience liaising directly with government agencies (SSO, Revenue Department, DLPW).
Technical Skills
- Familiar with HR and Payroll systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, data reconciliation.
- Strong written communication for policy documents and case documentation.
- Proficient English communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential data.
