Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and highly credible Compliance Manager to safeguard business integrity, strengthen internal controls, and lead investigations into misconduct or fraudulent activities. This role is critical in ensuring ethical sales practices, fair governance, and transparent operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong investigative judgment, resilience under pressure, and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

A. Investigation & Enforcement

  • Lead end-to-end investigations involving sales misconduct, fraud, and internal policy violations (e.g., ghost sales, mis-selling, commission abuse).
  • Conduct interviews, review evidence, and prepare findings to support disciplinary actions.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to implement timely corrective actions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive controls to minimize repeat incidents.

B. Compliance Governance & Committee Leadership

  • Act as a key member or lead of the Disciplinary Committee, ensuring fair, objective, and consistent decisions.
  • Develop, review, and maintain internal policies, code of conduct, and compliance guidelines.
  • Provide regular compliance updates, investigation summaries, and risk reports to the Managing Director.

C. Monitoring & Internal Control

  • Monitor sales and operational activities to identify irregular trends, suspicious behavior, or control gaps.
  • Conduct periodic audits on expense claims, incentive payments, and field operations.
  • Strengthen internal controls in partnership with department heads and functional leaders.

D. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare regular reports on compliance risks, investigation outcomes, and key misconduct trends.
  • Recommend practical process improvements to enhance transparency, accountability, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Investigation, or related governance functions.
  • Thai nationality only.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English (English is mandatory).
  • Experience in direct sales, insurance, agency, or commission-based businesses is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record handling misconduct, fraud investigations, or disciplinary cases.
  • Strong analytical thinking, interviewing, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to remain firm, objective, and professional when managing conflicts with commercial teams.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to engage senior management.
