Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Role summary:

To monitor and observe Company's activities to compliance with Bank of Thailand's, Anti-money Laundering Office's, Personal Data Protection Committee's, and other regulator's rules and regulations

  • Improve Compliance and Privacy management framework of the Company, which consists of Compliance Risk Assessment (both Compliance risk and Money Laundering & Financing Terrorism and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction risk AML/CFT-WMD risk), Compliance Program and Customer Protection Plan, establishing, maintain and revising Compliance and Privacy related Policies, Procedures, and Manuals.
  • Monitor newly establishment or revision of relevant laws and regulations from several regulators e.g. BOT, , AMLO, PDPC etc. and specify any impacts on the existing business.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to develop a good relationship with the regulators by two ways regular communication process and maintain a form of partnership relationship. This includes the submission of the application / reporting to the regulators in a timely manner.
  • Cooperate with all departments to have the Company's policies/rules/manuals up-to-dated and provide an advice to management and other departments from the point of compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and their mutual consistency and sufficiency.
  • Conduct Compliance check for a new product or service to ensure its sufficiency of compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct Compliance Test and Review over activities in the Company to ensure compliance with the relevant laws, regulations and the Company's internal rules and provide an advice to management and other departments from the point of compliance with regulatory/legal requirements, as well as, keep management abreast of the compliance concerns, including areas of weakness and propose new or changing laws, regulations and rules.
  • Support investigate and assess AML/CFT alerts, incidents and cases, escalate suspicious circumstances and/or activities to Senior Management, Board of Directors, and prepare Suspicious Transaction Report (STR)where necessary.
  • Serve as the Data Protection Officer
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in laws, Business or Corporate laws Management or equivalent
  • 3-5 years Risk Management/Compliance experience in the Financial/ card industry
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Payment Regulation, Anti-Money Laundering, or Personal Data Protection)
  • Understanding of AML, Due Diligence and Risk Management
  • Experience Liaise with regulatory bodies is a plus
  • Good analytical skills - ability to analyze complex data
  • Readiness to work with busy schedules and tight deadlines
  • Internet/tech-Savvy with a passion for Internet and Technology
  • Ability to approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Fluent in English
