Responsibilities
- To provide logistics and other supporting services for the export transportation of DayOne's goods (referring to the transportation from Chinese Mainland to overseas/overseas).
- To be involved in the goods export transportation, logistics arrangement and other supporting services which include but not limited to:
- According to the terms of trade, perform international transportation (including transportation by road, rail, or air from designated domestic points to designated destinations);
- Apply for cargo transportation insurance (including obtaining the comprehensive insurance for the loss or damage of the goods during transportation, storage, and delivery);
- Manage and handle domestic export customs declaration, sea freight, import customs clearance at Thailand Port, land transportation from Thailand Port to the project destination, and customs duty-free handling;
- To enable and manage the storage of goods in the warehouse before shipment or distribution of goods at the destination;
- To be responsible for receiving goods from the dock or designated warehouse until the destination is delivered on board;
- To engage freight forwarder or logistics vendor to provide the services of assembling, loading and unloading of goods during the transportation process, and unloading at the destination;
- To obtain the bill of lading, ship certificate, and other documents signed by the shipowner or shipping agent (if any) and process them within DayOne's system (such as SAP, SharePoint, OA etc);
- To provide the shipping schedule and dynamic information of vehicles and vessels;
- To follow up and supervise the transportation process of goods, and track and monitor the destination of the goods;
- To be responsible of the destination port operations;
- To be in-charge of the export freight consultation, order of export cargo space/container, storage, receipt, shipment, delivery, inspection, insurance, container transportation, document preparation, document retrieval, delivery, packing, etc;
- To manage other activities related to international transportation of goods.
Order Management
- To ensure that the goods entrusted by the Employer are shipped on time and safely, and provide timely written update on materials and information such as cargo allocation, container allocation, and boarding.
- To be responsible for chartering, order, and loading goods. After all the goods have been loaded on board, to update and record order number, product name, quantity, invoice amount, gross weight, ship name, departure date, estimated arrival date, etc.
- To ensure that the goods are delivered within the planned time limit to avoid unnecessary storage and insurance fees.
Foreign Trailer/ Container Arrangements
- To ensure transportation vehicles are being arranged for overseas transporation, complying with laws/regulations and are equipped with qualified drivers in accordance with the instructions of the consignee and local regulations and operational requirements related to the transportation of goods.
- To manage and ensure that logistics forwarders have delivered the goods to the designated project site within the specified time according to the requirements of the DayOne and the consignee.

- To check that the trailer/ container for the overseas logistics comply with the requirements of the insurance already in place.
- To provide unloading guidance to the consignee, including but not limited to conducting on-site inspections at the project site, verifying the consignee's scheduled unloading plan, arranging for deployment of forklifts (such as number of units, tonnage, etc.) and manpower at the project site, and predicting whether there will be rainy season research during the shipment process based on weather forecasts and historical weather conditions during the same period, as well as emergency plans for unloading on rainy days.
- To manage and provide logistics tracking information for each batch of goods, including but not limited to estimated arrival, actual arrival, pre clearance, actual customs clearance, delivery plan, actual delivery situation, unloading, container return, etc., to the destination port clearance bank/consignee.
- To be responsible for the correctness of the basic bill of lading information and the corresponding piece/gross/body/box/seal number of each batch during domestic operations.
- To promptly notify the Project Team of any unexpected circumstances and actively take mitigation and preventive measures to avoid the occurrence and expansion of losses or delays, including but not limited to advance payment of some abnormal expenses with prior confirmation from the Project Team/ Department managing the budget.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in international logistics, export operations, or supply chain.
- Strong background in customs clearance procedures (export/import).
- Strong understanding of incoterms, freight documentation (bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, etc.).
- Knowledge of cargo insurance, container space booking, and handling claims.
- Familiarity with port and warehousing operations, trailer/container coordination, and on-site delivery management.
- Capable of coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and third-party vendors.
- Experience in order management, shipment tracking, and real-time logistics reporting.
- Able to perform risk assessments, plan for contingencies (e.g., rainy season delays), and lead problem-solving initiatives during logistics disruptions.
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in shipment documentation and tracking records.
- Proactive and able to respond quickly to operational issues and emergencies.
