We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design and construction management of real estate and retail projects.
This role requires a strong architectural background with expertise in interior design, MEP systems, and construction processes.
The ideal candidate will balance creative design leadership with technical project execution, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Design & Technical Leadership
- Lead and oversee architectural design for real estate and retail developments (shopping centers, mixed-use projects, commercial spaces, and factories).
- Integrate and coordinate architecture, interior design, and MEP works throughout all project phases.
- Review design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with business objectives and local regulations.
- Provide design guidance and technical solutions aligned with corporate standards, brand identity, and operational requirements.
2. Project & Construction Management
- Manage the full project lifecycle from concept design to handover.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and quality control; track progress and resolve on-site issues.
- Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and design reviews to ensure accuracy and buildability.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including leasing, operations, marketing, and finance.
- Act as the key liaison between internal management and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (professional license preferred).
- Minimum 812 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or project lead role.
- Proven track record in retail, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.
- Strong understanding of interior design, MEP systems, and construction management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English with the ability to work in a global and cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
