Consultant - Project Manager (6-month contract)

This Consultant - Project Manager role at Darwinbox is a high-impact, central leadership position focused on the end-to-end governance of the HCM implementation lifecycle. The primary objective is to drive operational excellence by acting as a central repository for project data and optimizing operating models to ensure seamless delivery.

As the orchestrator of project health, the lead is responsible for conducting rigorous governance calls with both internal and client-side implementation teams to ensure all commitments are met. You will be tasked with monitoring resource allocation, tracking project progress through specialized PM tools. A critical part of the role involves predictive analysis—forecasting potential delays, identifying red flags before they impact timelines, and recommending strategic mitigation solutions to keep projects on track.

Job Description:

• Centrally Managing end-to-end project life cycle and driving optimization of operating models.
• Provide a central repository for all projects and project information
• Conducting governance calls to manage the processes for ongoing projects and ensuring project commitments are being met by Darwinbox's implementation team as well as the Client's implementation team
• Capture project health and monitor resource allocation and provide insights into processes and frameworks that work
• Ability to use Project management tools and track/review projects using these tools
• Review/prepare Gantt charts for projects and predict delays
• Prepare status reports, highlight setbacks to the project timelines, proactively escalate potential red flags, and recommend mitigation solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience in project management for SaaS product implementations would be preferred
• PMP/Prince2 Certified and proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skill
