Storytelling is a strategic function as we scale. It's how we build belief in what we do as an integrated eCommerce logistics specialist.
To do this, we're adding a Bangkok-based Social Media Manager/Content Creator to lead Thai-localised storytelling and content execution for our business segment focused on enabling SME brands to ship next-day, cross-border.
This isn't a typical content role. You'll be the bridge between brand, business, and Thai culture - creating content that's hyper-relevant, socially sharp, and built for impact. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to make scroll-stopping content, shape local narratives, and ship high-volume, engaging content fast.
This is a contractor, on-site role based in our Bangkok office. You may travel occasionally to capture stories that bring the Teleport brand to life (so get your passport ready!).

A DAY IN A LIFE
Every day is different, but most of your time will go toward:
- Planning and executing content for Thai SME businesses and consumer audience across objectives, formats, and channels
- Localising brand and product narratives for the Thai audience through visual and verbal storytelling
- Producing original, culture-driven, social-first content - from static visuals and memes to short-form video edits and reactive content
- Light editing or assembling of visuals and videos using tools like CapCut or Canva - especially for quick-turn or social-first stories
- Developing clear content briefs and overseeing the execution of creative assets
- Contributing to the marketing strategy
- Working across teams, partners, customers, and stakeholders to interview, gather insights, and shape stories from the ground up
- Reviewing content performance and iterating based on what works (and what doesn't)
- Leading brand and content-heavy campaigns
- Staying updated on industry and market trends, and jumping in to support broader marketing efforts - including assisting with video shoots and other hands-on moments when it counts
Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Thai local with a native understanding of Thai trends, content styles, humour, and tone
- Strong English proficiency (you'll work with regional and HQ teams in English)
- 3-5 years in social media, content, or creative roles (agency or brand-side)
- Proven ability to create, edit, and publish content quickly using social and mobile-friendly tools
- Solid grasp of visual and short-form video storytelling
- Confident navigating both strategy and execution, including planning calendars, interpreting briefs, and shaping ideas from scratch
- Ability to move fast and self-manage, but collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bonus if you've marketed eCommerce, logistics, or tech-enabled services before, or if you've worked in fast-growth, startup, or cross-border brands
