Who are we looking for
The Content Creator / Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing engaging social media content to support Uhomes brand presence and growth in the Thailand and Southeast Asia markets.
The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to create compelling, student-centric content. This role requires someone who is comfortable appearing on camera, able to work independently, and passionate about digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily social media content creation and posting
Manage social media coverage for the Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia markets
Handle multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Develop student-focused content for the student accommodation platform
Support and participate in marketing events in Thailand
Role is based in Thailand
Burmese language proficiency (written and spoken) is required; intermediate English is preferred
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience as a Social Media Executive, Content Creator, or similar role
Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Ability to create engaging content, including short-form videos, captions, and basic visual assets
Comfortable appearing on camera and confident in filming content independently
Basic skills in video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
Strong sense of creativity, storytelling, and current social media trends
Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and posting schedules
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with marketing and cross-functional teams
Burmese language proficiency (written and spoken) is required; intermediate English is preferred
Passion for student-focused content and digital marketing is an advantage
