The Role: Content Creator (Ideation & Video Editing)
As an In-House Content Creator, you will work closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to conceptualize and edit high-performing video content for leading digital and entertainment brands. Your main responsibility is idea development and video editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and content ideas for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
- Edit videos for social-first formats, including short-form, long-form, and platform-specific cuts.
- Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, and producers to translate ideas into compelling video outputs.
- Craft strong storytelling through pacing, structure, sound, and visuals.
- Apply basic motion elements (text, transitions, simple graphics) to support the edit, not as the main focus.
- Stay up to date with content trends, formats, and audience behavior across platforms.
- Repurpose and adapt videos for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor or content creator for digital or social platforms.
- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience in content ideation and concept development, not just execution.
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and audience engagement.
- Familiar with social media trends, formats, and performance-driven content.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Based in Jakarta and open to hybrid work (studio + remote).
Nice to Have
- Experience adding light motion graphics or animated text to videos.
- Background in entertainment, influencer-led, or social content campaigns.
- Understanding of how content performance and analytics inform creative decisions.
- Experience working in an agency or content studio environment.
