Job Description

Continuous Improvement Supervisor(lead a team)

Experience : Automotive, Injection, Assembly

Responsibilities:

  1. Leading TEBITs and KAIZEN projects in Gateway Operations included Continuous Improvement Activity.
  2. Leading in key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, improve cycle time, reducing waste, scrap, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
  3. Leading in 5S, Andon, QCO, TPM, Spare Part Management, AGV, Kanban, Paperless, Digital solution, Plant Layout, Capacity Expansion etc.
  4. Ability to prepare forecasts, analyze industry trends, machine capacity and manpower needed.
  5. Coach and mentor teams on CI tools and global methodologies for analysis and improvement.
  6. Report progress and status of CI initiatives and CI program to relevant stakeholders at both local and global levels.
  7. Ability to organize, evaluate, interpret, and summarize data for reports
  8. Work across in ASIA Pacific related to TEOA/CI, Digital Factory (China, Japan and Korea)
  9. Represent ASEAN Operation best practice and coordinate in Global TEOA/CI included COE (Central of Excellence)
  10. Continuously improve on the working environment in the areas of housekeeping, workflow, and safety.
  11. Sustain high morale and develop teamwork both within and across departments.
  12. Develop and implement new techniques, method and process to continuously improve safety, quality & productivity.
  13. Perform other job assignment or responsibilities as and when required by Division Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8+ years of experience in CI roles in manufacturing sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge in CI methodologies, CI tools, TPM principles, Lean manufacturing. (Certificate in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S are highly desirable)
  • Fluent communication in English (Chinese is plus), interpersonal skills.
  • Background experience High Speed Stamping, Plastic Injection, Automation is preferred.
  • Good Operational knowledge of SAP/BOM/Routing/Power BI/Power App/Tableau/AutoCAD
  • Proactive and strong leadership skills to lead and coach others.
  • Excellent collaboration and ability to influence colleagues towards a CI mindset.
  • A good team player in cooperating with both internal and external parties.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and target-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of commitment
  • Able to work well under pressure
