About Drytis

Drytis is an AI-driven software company building the future of software development by combining AI-powered development with human engineering expertise. We help turn ideas into production-ready software, faster and smarter.

Please visit studio.drytis.ai and www.drytis.com to explore more.

About the Role

At Drytis, we are building AI employees that can perform real business work, including communicating naturally and intelligently with people across multiple channels.

We are building a communication ecosystem where AI can understand incoming messages, identify intent, respond appropriately, continue conversations, take actions, follow up, and involve the right human when necessary.

We are looking for a Conversational AI Strategist to help define how this entire communication experience should work.

This is primarily a communication strategy role, not an AI engineering role.

You will design how Drytis should communicate with customers, prospects, clients, partners, candidates, vendors, and other people who interact with the business.

You will define the conversation flows, messaging logic, tone, responses, follow-ups, escalation rules, and communication standards that power our AI-driven communication ecosystem.

You will work closely with AI engineers who will handle the technical development, integrations, and implementation.

Your responsibility is to define what the communication system should do and how conversations should work. The engineering team will determine how to build it technically.

What You Will Do

• Design end-to-end communication workflows for different types of business conversations.

• Define how incoming messages should be understood, categorized, and handled.

• Create conversation flows for customers, prospects, clients, partners, candidates, vendors, and general inquiries.

• Write and refine responses, follow-up messages, questions, and escalation paths.

• Define how conversations should progress based on user intent and context.

• Establish communication standards, tone of voice, and messaging principles.

• Design when conversations should continue automatically and when a human should become involved.

• Identify recurring communication scenarios and develop standardized workflows for them.

• Review real and AI-generated conversations to identify weaknesses and improve communication quality.

• Work with AI engineers to translate communication requirements into AI-powered workflows.

• Test implemented AI communication flows and provide structured feedback to engineers.

• Continuously improve the communication ecosystem based on real conversations and business requirements.

Communication Channels

You may design communication experiences across:

Email | WhatsApp | Instagram | LinkedIn | Facebook | Website Chat | DMs | Other Business Messaging Channels

The goal is to create a consistent communication experience regardless of where a conversation begins.

Example Workflow:

A prospect sends an Instagram DM.

The communication system should know:

Who is contacting us → Why they are contacting us → What context we already have → What we should say → What questions we should ask → What action should happen next → Whether follow-up is required → Whether another department or human should take over.

You will define this communication logic.

The AI engineering team will build the technology that executes it.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong real-world expertise in communication, customer engagement, conversation design, customer experience, or messaging strategy.

You should:

• Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Understand customer psychology, intent, and behavior.

• Know how to structure natural, clear, and purposeful conversations.

• Be able to adapt communication for different audiences and situations.

• Understand how conversations move from inquiry to resolution or the appropriate next action.

• Be comfortable creating detailed communication workflows and decision logic.

• Have strong copywriting and messaging skills.

• Be able to analyze conversations and identify where communication can be improved.

• Think systematically while still maintaining a natural human communication style.

• Work effectively with engineers and translate business requirements into clear communication rules.

AI Understanding

You do not need to be an AI engineer or developer.

However, you should:

• Be comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.

• Understand the basic capabilities and limitations of AI-generated communication.

• Know how to use AI to improve research, writing, analysis, and productivity.

• Be comfortable testing AI-generated conversations and providing feedback.

• Be interested in how AI can improve business communication.

Experience building AI agents, coding, APIs, or automation systems is not required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is valuable:

Customer Engagement | Customer Experience | Conversational Design | Customer Success | CRM | Communication Strategy | Community Management | Customer Support | Lifecycle Communication | Copywriting | Messaging Strategy | Conversational AI

Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Intercom, Zendesk, WhatsApp Business, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar communication and AI tools is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means creating a communication system where:

• Conversations feel natural rather than robotic.

• Incoming messages are understood correctly.

• People receive relevant and context-aware responses.

• Follow-ups happen appropriately.

• Communication remains consistent across channels.

• Conversations are routed to the correct person or department when necessary.

• AI handles appropriate conversations while humans remain involved where judgment is required.

• Communication workflows continuously improve based on real interactions.

What Makes This Role Different

  • You are not being hired to build AI technology.
  • You are being hired because you understand how great business communication should work.
  • Your communication frameworks, conversation flows, messaging logic, and customer understanding will become the foundation that our AI engineers use to build Drytis conversational systems.
  • We are looking for someone who can bring the human understanding of communication that makes AI conversations genuinely useful.

If you understand people, communication, customer psychology, and messaging, and you're excited about applying that expertise to AI, we'd love to hear from you.
