  • Monitor all of Ships Agency incoming / outgoing messages.
  • Follow up on vessels as assigned by the Operations Manager.
  • Attends to enquiries, requirements & queries pertaining to vessels / principals promptly. At all

times, to act in principals best interest within parameter of local and international regulations,

and within WPS quality standard.

  • Maintain good relations and communicate proactively with principals, master, local

shippers/receivers as well as other concerned parties.

  • Keep close contact with principals / vessels / master for update ETA.
  • Send update ETA and vessel's movements to principals / shippers / consignees / ports and

other concerned parties.

  • Submit berth application to the port.
  • Ensure that any important issues, delays, or unusual events are communicated immediately to

principals & all other relevant parties without any delay.

  • Ensure liaison with stevedores, terminal operators, surveyors and such other personnel as

may be required so that the vessel may be worked in the most efficiency and economical

fashion.

  • Render assistance to principals, owner or designated supervisors, master and crew.
  • Monitor and keep track of incoming messages, mails, parcels, ship's spare, crew change, etc.

and inform boarding officer in charge.

  • Make necessary arrangements for husbandry services e.g. crew change, clearance of ship's

spare, etc.

  • Responsible for logging, informing and seeking approval from principals / master and other

concerned parties for any additional services / requirements during the vessel's call.

  • After departure of vessel, send update breakdown of additional expenses to principals and

input incurred expenses.

  • After departure of vessel, collect and dispatch relevant documents, i.e. NOR, B/Ls, SOF /

Time Sheets, surveyor's reports, etc. to principals.

  • Identify and check all port / vendors / sub-contractors invoices and ensure expenses incurred

are billed to various principals.

  • Maintain a proper filing system of vessels.
  • Any other task as and when assigned by the Operations Manager and the Ships Agency

Manager.

  • Ensure final DA is issued within the timeframes of vessel departure
  • To achieve Standard of Operation
