Job Description

Corporate Finance Analyst

This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of listed companies and providing guidance on transaction-related matters throughout the listed company lifecycle.

You will:

Act as a primary point of contact for listed companies on corporate transactions, disclosure obligations and governance matters.

Review and assess a broad range of corporate actions including acquisitions, disposals, fund-raising exercises, share issuances, restructuring initiatives and other strategic transactions.

Evaluate transaction structures and supporting documentation against applicable listing requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Review circulars, announcements, financial disclosures and transaction submissions prepared by listed issuers and their advisers.

Engage with company management, directors, corporate finance advisers, investment bankers, lawyers and auditors on transaction-related matters.

Assess the impact of proposed transactions on shareholders, disclosure obligations and ongoing listing requirements.

Analyse financial information, transaction rationale and supporting materials to facilitate informed decision-making.

Participate in discussions relating to market developments, policy initiatives and enhancements to listing and governance frameworks.

Contribute to the development of guidance, processes and best practices that support Singapore's capital markets ecosystem.

Build trusted relationships with listed companies and professional advisers while ensuring consistent and balanced application of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience gained within corporate finance, transaction advisory, capital markets, accounting advisory, financial due diligence, valuation, corporate secretarial, legal or regulatory environments.

Experience advising listed companies, reviewing corporate transactions or supporting capital markets activities would be highly advantageous.

Familiarity with corporate actions such as acquisitions, disposals, fund-raising exercises, restructuring transactions or shareholder approval processes is preferred.

Professional qualifications such as CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA, CFA or legal qualifications are advantageous.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial information, transaction documentation and business rationale.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to engage confidently with senior management teams, directors and external advisers.

Strong judgement, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
