Job Description

Location: Krungthep Kreetha, Huamark, Bangkapi

Primary responsibility is to support B.Grimm Industrial and Healthcare Businesses involves the review and negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements, M&A, JV Agreements, Operational vendor agreements and a variety of other commercial agreements, labor law and other legal matters. This is a hands-on role where requires both execution and coordination with external legal parties. The incumbent will provide accurate, relevant advice to the business and ensure that business matters are handled in an appropriate, legal manner including day to day advice, legal contracts drafting, resolve issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handle various issues and pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries related to internal and external parties.

The role requires the incumbent to advise effectively and make recommendations to internal business units and senior management on legal issue resolutions by proposing appropriate course of action to anticipate, manage legal risks and facilitate business negotiation, where needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements and documents e.g. commercial contracts, service agreements, leases licenses, M&A, third party service agreements or other business contracts.
  • Ensure internal legal compliances, best practices, regulatory requirements, legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide advice, consultation and legal support and guidance to business on commercial and business matters.
  • Manage litigation, corporate risks and lawsuits on behalf of the organization.
  • Prepare legal documents to facilitate M&A and business expansion activities.
  • Enable a culture of compliance through communication, role modeling and training, where needed.
  • Other tasks assigned.

Job Specification

  • Good command of English with native Thai speaking.
  • Minimum of LLB on business law, corporate law or other related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial business is a strong preference.
  • Robust knowledge of local and international business and trade law and regulations.
  • Has a sound judgement and business sense.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal parties across a wide variety of business disciplines.
  • Has experience in managing statutory compliance and corporate legal safeguard.
  • Ability to manage numerous matters and competing priorities.
