POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced corporate security professional to join the Hill & Associates team that will be embedded with a key client in the agriculture - technology sector. We are seeking an experienced professional with both corporate security and an investigations background. The successful candidate will be a Thai national with a robust understanding of Thailands criminal police procedures and practices, as well as experience conducting investigations within a corporate environment. The position will act as a key business partner and play a key part in building resilience within our clients business and supporting security and investigations capabilities within Thailand.
ROLE AND PURPOSE
Support risk based-intelligence-led Security program deployment across Thailand to enhance its effectiveness for the business.
Lead the Thailand security program delivery to ensure maximum contribution to the Crop Protection and Seeds Business Units by delivering security program solution deployment, generating the proper risk ownership from Thailand LT (Leadership Team).
Be proactive and a catalyst for new and innovative thinking within the business.
Leverage at the right level cross-functional collaboration (Legal, Supply, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, Facilities Management) to deliver enhanced security performance.
Educate, Influence, and support stakeholders at all levels covering all security matters noted above.
Lead external security networking activities with industry associations, government agencies, and security networks.
Ensure consistent deployment of security programs (people & asset protection, insider threat, and anti-illicit trade) and processes (internal & external stakeholder management, intelligence & investigations) across Thailand to produce a tangible risk reduction.
Measure, monitor, and report the effectiveness of Security programs & processes performance to Thailand and Corporate Security leadership.
Lead critical investigations in Thailand including asset, people, information, and product-related issues and support to the compliance department.
Support critical intelligence dissemination in Thailand aiming to anticipate threats related to activism, among others.
Support Legal IP professionals in building intelligence, steer and supervise investigations aiming to develop evidence to be used in critical intellectual property and trademark litigations.
Support Post Patent Teams in shaping legal and regulatory actions, including the selection of targets and process to obtain evidence to be used in court.
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS AND KEY CHALLENGES
Have deep understanding of general Thailand criminal police procedures and the local law enforcement community, as well as, an in-depth understanding of local government structures, practices and regulations.
Deliver the Thailand security programs meeting risk targets so that Thailand stakeholders own their security risks.
Have strong established connections with Law Enforcement on Anti-Illicit trade related programs.
Have practical understanding of or hands-on experience in investigation techniques, process in Thailand. Determined execution leadership is demonstrated daily so that:
Trust of team and customers is earned by delivering on Anti-Illicit Trade program commitments
Accountability to find ways to provide security services is found
Focus on transparently delivering successfully high impact cases with the highest possible standard of ethics and compliance
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A security related bachelor or master or law bachelor will be beneficial
Have experience on Anti-illicit Trade related programs (economic crimes, counterfeit goods, smuggling goods)
Significant travel across Thailand to lead the Security program deployment
Likely to participate in out-of-office conferences and networking opportunities
