Job Description

Job Purpose

The CSR Department Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing the organization's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and initiatives. This role oversees multiple CSR projects across different locations, manages budgets and resources, engages communities and stakeholders, and drives employee participation to achieve sustainable social impact aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Program Management

  • Develop, plan, and implement short-term and long-term CSR strategies, programs, and activities in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Manage multiple CSR projects simultaneously across different locations and communities.
  • Ensure all CSR activities are well-planned, on schedule, within scope, and aligned with approved objectives.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Prepare, manage, and control CSR budgets to ensure effective and transparent use.
  • Monitor expenses, evaluate cost efficiency, and provide regular budget and performance reports to management.
  • Optimize resource allocation across projects and teams located in different areas.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Plan and execute CSR activities in collaboration with local communities, customers, government agencies, and other relevant partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and long-term engagement.
  • Act as a key representative of the organization in CSR-related meetings, events, and community forums.

Internal Engagement & Employee Participation

  • Promote CSR initiatives internally and encourage active employee participation across departments and business units.
  • Design engagement programs, campaigns, and communication strategies to strengthen employee involvement and sense of ownership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate CSR into organizational culture and daily operations.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the CSR team, including team members based in multiple locations.
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team and individual members.
  • Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve targets and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Develop and implement effective tools and methodologies to measure project performance, impact, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Design and continuously improve satisfaction surveys, feedback mechanisms, and impact assessment tools.
  • Analyze data, evaluate results, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and summaries for management and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance CSR programs, processes, and engagement models.
  • Stay updated on CSR trends, sustainability standards, ESG practices, and best practices.
  • Propose innovative initiatives and partnerships that increase social impact and organizational reputation.

Working Conditions

  • May require travel to project sites, communities, and company locations.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to support community activities and events.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Management or related fields.
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, community development, or Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) coordination, or industrial estate operations with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and budgets across different locations.
  • TOEIC score > 600 is preferred.
