Job Summary:
To lead strategic planning and sustainability initiatives that align with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and global climate commitments. To ensure the integration of sustainability into business strategy and drive innovation in industrial gas and climate technology solutions by focusing on energy transition, decarbonization, and sustainable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development
- Support the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer in defining and executing corporate strategy.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and scenario planning for industrial gas and climate tech sectors.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for growth, diversification, and technology adoption.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects and monitor KPIs.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for leadership and board meetings.
Sustainability Leadership
- Embed sustainability principles into corporate strategy and operational plans.
- Develop and manage ESG frameworks, carbon reduction strategies, and climate risk assessments.
- Monitor global sustainability trends, regulatory changes, and stakeholder expectations.
- Lead initiatives to achieve net-zero targets and improve energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with external partners, regulators, and industry bodies to advance sustainability goals.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report progress on strategic and sustainability objectives.
- Prepare disclosures aligned with international standards (GRI, TCFD, CDP).
- Identify risks and opportunities related to climate change and energy transition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in strategy development, sustainability, or corporate planning (preferably in industrial gases, chemicals, or energy sectors).
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks, carbon accounting, and climate technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior leadership.
