Job Summary
Product costing is at the core of our commercial and business decisions. We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to manage and optimize product costing processes, support ERP-based cost structures, and provide insights into cost drivers across manufacturing operations.
This role is based in Prachin Buri, Thailand, and will work closely with and support Belgium and US production sites in both pre-calculation and final costing activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Costing & Pre-Calculation
- Drive and optimize the pre-calculation process for in-house manufactured products
- Collect, validate, and analyze required data to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Maintain and update costing models to reflect latest cost drivers and parameters
- Develop costing methodologies for new products and sustainable developments in collaboration with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Benchmark cost structures across production sites (Belgium, US, Thailand if applicable) to support production decisions
- Perform post-costing analysis to evaluate accuracy and improve models
2. ERP Costing & System Support
- Perform regular cost updates in ERP systems for new and existing products
- Validate cost outputs and investigate variances with relevant teams (procurement, manufacturing, etc.)
- Support Manufacturing Controller with quarterly and annual cost reviews
- Maintain and update costing-related master data in ERP
3. Cost Analysis & Insights
- Analyze cost components such as material, labor, and energy
- Track price trends and identify key cost drivers
- Assess financial and operational impact of cost changes
- Support cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
4. Reporting & Ad-hoc Analysis
- Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc analysis based on business needs
- Support cross-functional decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 25 years of experience in:
- Product costing
- Cost analysis
- Manufacturing controlling (industrial environment preferred)

- Strong communication skills in English (Mandatory)
