Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Costing and Budget Management Manager to oversee product costing, COGS closing, production cost analysis, budgeting, and cost control activities. This role will support management decision-making by providing accurate cost information, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving costing processes across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control monthly COGS closing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Analyze and monitor overall production costs, including manufacturing and processing costs, to identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Review, improve, and ensure accuracy of BOM and Routing to reflect actual production conditions.
- Prepare cost reports and supporting analysis for cost review meetings and management decision-making after accounting closing.
- Analyze product costing variances for new products and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Plan and manage the annual budget process, including cost budget preparation aligned with company goals.
- Monitor budget utilization to ensure efficiency, compliance with plan, and support financial decision-making.
- Lead cost improvement initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Accounting, Finance, and Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in cost management and budgeting.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience at Manager or GM level.
- Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing cost systems, especially Standard Costing, Activity-Based Costing, and SAP.
- Advanced skills in Excel; experience with Power BI or cost data analysis tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills for senior management.
- Leadership ability with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving change.
- English communication skills at intermediate level.
