Job Description
- Oversee and maintain standard costing models for all manufactured products.
- Review, analyze, and update cost structures, BOMs, and routings to ensure accuracy.
- Lead monthly product cost reviews and investigate major variances.
- Partner closely with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs such as yield, efficiency, scrap, and productivity.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for plant operations.
- Analyze production performance versus standard costs and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial insights.
- Perform cost simulation for new products, engineering changes, and investment projects.
- Support inventory valuation, cycle count analysis, and stock reconciliation.
- Assess cost impact of procurement changes, supplier price movements, and material variances.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on process improvement and costreduction initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to corporate accounting standards and internal controls.
- Act as a finance partner to plant leadership on strategic and operational decisions.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in costing or controlling especially at the management level, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of standard cost models and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced Excel or ERP system experience (SAP or similar).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
