About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Financial Controller to lead financial operations across Thailand and Laos. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, internal controls, and statutory reporting across Thailand and Laos.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Manage audits, taxation, cash flow, and financial risk.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and support decision-making.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership or controller role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and regional tax frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and work effectively across cultures and functions.
- Demonstrated success in driving cost optimization and process improvement.
