Country IT Manager
Reports To: Regional IT Director
Location: BTS Line, Bangkok
Role Summary
The Country IT Manager serves as the strategic link between Global/Regional IT and local market operations. Reporting directly to Regional IT Leadership, you will manage local IT budgets, lead a 10-person outsourced IT service desk team, and act as the chief partner for internal business customers. You will facilitate the local rollout and expansion of global technology standards, resolve business escalations with high empathy, and maintain zero-downtime store operations across all luxury boutiques.
Core Responsibilities
- Global-to-Local Technology Expansion: Facilitate, localize, and deploy global/regional IT programs (ERP, POS, CRM) into the local market. Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, including e-Tax, e-Invoicing, and fiscalization.
- Business Relationship & Escalation Management: Act as the primary senior escalation point for local business users and retail leadership. Proactively address business complaints, resolve operational tension, and build trust between IT and business functions.
- Team & Service Operations: Direct, mentor, and schedule a team of 12 IT support engineers and help desk staff. Establish SLAs to guarantee rapid incident resolution for boutique stores and head office staff.
- Budget & Strategic Planning: Read and align with local business strategy. Manage the complete local IT budget (OPEX/CAPEX), hardware procurement, and local vendor contracts to balance cost with business priorities.
Key Requirements
- Experience: At least 5+ years in IT leadership within Retail or High-End Consumer Goods.
- Leadership & Budgeting: Proven track record managing direct operational teams and full local IT budgets.
- Technology Domain: Deep domain knowledge of Retail POS, CRM/Clienteling, ERP systems, and e-Tax compliance.
- Matrix Structure: Strong ability to balance regional reporting lines with local business customer demands.
- Language Capabilities: Fluent in English and Thai
