Role Description
The Country Liaison Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, India, Singapore. This role involves acting as the primary communication bridge between headquarters and regional partners, facilitating seamless operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Communication Link
- HQ Representative: Act as the face of the company within the local market. You ensure the distributor feels supervised but also supported.
- Daily Coordination: Resolve daily friction between HQ's expectations and the distributor's reality.
- Translation of Strategy: Ensure HQ's global campaigns are localized correctly and that the distributor's feedback is sent back to HQ without being lost in translation.
2. Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Local Trend Watching: Identify shifts in local consumer behavior, new government regulations, or emerging competitors before they become a problem.
- Sales Data Verification: Don't just accept the distributor's reports; analyze the raw data to find growth opportunities or red flags in specific provinces/cities.
- Monthly, Weekly, Daily Country Reports: Provide HQ with a deep-dive analysis of that specific country's performance vs. market potential.
3. Legal & Oversight
- Contractual Guardian: Monitor the distributor's compliance with the legal agreement (pricing, territory limits, brand usage).
- Compliance: Stay updated on local trade laws and import/export regulations to advise HQ on potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree inBusiness Administration, International Trade, or Marketing.
- Experience: 510 years in Channel Sales or Distributor Management. They should have a track record of managing Indirect Sales (selling through partners rather than direct customers).
- Communication: Highly proficient in Professional English and the native language of the assigned country of station, with an additional requirement for native or fluent Korean to ensure seamless HQ integration.
