About the Role

The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead and grow their Data Center Consultancy operations in Thailand. This strategic role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in data center design, commissioning, consulting, and project delivery, and a strong understanding of the Thai market. You will be responsible for driving business development, managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and building a high-performing local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to expand our presence in Thailand.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data center sector.

  • Build strategic partnerships with developers, hyperscalers, enterprises, and government stakeholders.

• Project Leadership

  • Oversee the successful delivery of data center projects from design through commissioning.

  • Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.

• Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in Thailand.

  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored consultancy solutions.

  • Foster long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

• Team Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a local team of consultants and engineers.

  • Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Operational Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the Thai operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data center consultancy, with a strong track record in design, commissioning, and project delivery.

• Proven leadership experience in a client-facing, business development, or country management role.

• Deep understanding of the Thai data center market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.

• Strong network within the local data center ecosystem (developers, contractors, consultants, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is a strong advantage.
