As we rapidly expand across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead our Thailand business and write the next chapter of renewable energy success in the Kingdom.

Market leadership potential: Thailand is a strategic hotbed for solar + storage growth. You will have the autonomy to shape our local go-to-market strategy from the ground up. Responsibilities

  • Strategic market entry: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Thailand to achieve aggressive annual sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Channel development: Identify, recruit, and manage local channel partners—including distributors, solar installers, and EPCs—to build a robust and high-performing sales network across all key provinces.
  • Market intelligence: Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the Thai microinverter and ESS (energy storage systems) segment. Proactively adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Brand leadership: Represent Hoymiles at local industry exhibitions, conferences, and key client meetings. Elevate brand visibility and reputation as the preferred smart energy partner in Thailand.

Qualifications

  • Nationality / Residency: Thai national or foreign professional (e.g., Chinese) based long-term in Thailand with strong local networks and work authorization.
  • Industry experience: Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in the inverter or energy storage industry (solar background highly preferred).
  • Leadership skills: Proven experience managing or mentoring a small team—either direct reports or cross-functional project teams.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Thai (Chinese is a strong plus but not mandatory).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment without hand-holding.
  • Travel ready: Willing to travel domestically (up to 40%) to visit partners and customers.
