As the Country Manager for Solarvest in Thailand, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expanding its presence in the clean energy sector. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligning with Solarvest's long-term vision, ensuring the company is positioned as a leader in clean energy solutions.
In this role, you will lead efforts to establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business development and enhancing Solarvest's market presence in Thailand.
Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local regulations and leveraging on understanding to it to place Solarvest in advantageous position, contributing to the sustainable growth of Solarvest in Thailand. By monitoring performance and providing insights to company leadership, you will help refine strategies that support Solarvest's long-term success in the Thai market.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategies aligning with the company values, strategic direction and goals to drive growth and profitability of the company, establishing company presence in the country for market expansion
- Identify market trends, opportunities, competitive landscape, and local regulations to inform strategic decisions and business initiatives
- Responsible for the P&L for Thailand business unit, ensuring that financial targets are achieved, and costs are being optimized to maximize the growth of the company
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the country's operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution of projects, business strategies and objectives
- Drive the business development initiatives and develop strategic partnerships in the clean energy ecosystem, including clients, suppliers, industry associations, regulatory bodies and governmental agencies to drive company presence and market share
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations related to clean energy and leverage a deep understanding of compliance to position the company in a leading position for business development
- Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of top talent to build a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company culture and strategic goals
- Report on business progress to company leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement for the company growth in the strategic geographical location.
