Country Manager (Thailand)
Location: Remote, based in Thailand
As the Country Manager for the Thailand market, you will take ownership of local market growth, operations, and strategic partnerships within the region. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, marketing acumen, and a strong local network.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience managing crypto or fintech growth in Thailand or Southeast Asia markets, strong operational capabilities, and fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute localized business strategies to grow market presence in Thailand.
- Lead all operational functions, including customer support coordination, marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
- Drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and market penetration through localized marketing campaigns and events.
- Build strategic partnerships with local institutions, media outlets, and key stakeholders in the crypto and fintech ecosystems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
- Act as the regional spokesperson and brand ambassador for the company in Thailand and neighboring markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams (product, engineering, compliance, etc.) to align local efforts with global goals.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing local team as operations scale.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees a plus.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in business development, marketing, or operations; experience in crypto, fintech, or high-growth tech companies is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Thailand's financial, tech, or crypto ecosystem; knowledge of Southeast Asia markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with local regulatory environments for cryptocurrency or digital finance products.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional local or regional languages are a bonus.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage cross-border collaboration.
- Results-driven, hands-on, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
