Job Description
As Country Sales Manager for Beckhoff Thailand, you'll make the leap from individual contributor to business leader with the full backing of a global automation technology leader. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and develop a small team of Sales Engineers (you'll start with 2-3 direct reports)
- Set performance goals, provide coaching, and conduct reviews
- Build the high-performing team culture you wish you had experienced
Strategic Planning & Regional Collaboration
- Work with Regional Managing Director to shape Thailand's sales strategy
- Create annual sales plans and forecasts
- Identify growth opportunities in Industry 4.0, Robotics, and IoT sectors
Drive Sales Growth
- Manage key accounts personally (stay connected to customers)
- Lead technical presentations and demonstrations
- Oversee proposals and quotations for major projects
Cross-Functional Synergy
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns and events
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth delivery
- Work with Technical teams to design winning solutions
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or any related discipline)
Experience
- 5 – 8 years experience in technical sales within the Automation/Industrial Technology sector
- 2 – 3 years in team leadership, project leadership, or senior account management (we prioritize leadership potential and drive)
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and taking ownership beyond defined responsibilities
Technical
- Strong fundamentals and understanding of PLC, SCADA, Robotics, or IOT technologies
Communication (Mandatory)
- Native-level fluency in Thai
- Professional working proficiency for regional and international communication in English
