About the Role
The role involves developing the strategic plan for the Components Business of Thailand and managing the sales team to achieve growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic plan for Components Business of Thailand
- Define and manage sales-team focus, approach and objectives
- Find and manage Key Accounts with Sales Team to achieve year-on-year growth
- Accountable for Profit and Loss account and delivering on-target operating profit, gross margin, and cash flow
- Identify and lead improvements in sales, customer-service, business development and operational including warehouse logistics performance
- Develop and lead positive long-term relationships with key customers and local suppliers
- Builds Essentra Components brand and reputation
- Create a high performing team by recruiting, coaching, training and developing employees
- Own the team employee engagement strategy
- Provide leadership and mentoring to staff
- Co-ordinate with regional marketing & product management teams to support local priorities and strategic objectives
- Liaise with finance team to ensure effective management of key financial metrics and forecasting
- In conjunction with Finance, Direct accountability for maintaining account receivables current with customers
- Monthly reporting to ensure proper level of communication
- Ensure up to date CRM maintenance for opportunity pipeline, visit reports, and activity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management, and/or an MBA considered a plus

- 8+ years industrial sales experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Experience engaging with customers at C level
- Experience with, and understanding of, sales effectiveness & key account management
- Demonstrate and prove a successful track record in industrial business to business sales

- Experience in a similar role within the industry
