Credit Analyst

Senior Research Analyst- Credit Risk- Leverage Finance/High Yield Portfolios- Mumbai 4–6 Years

We are looking for a skilled credit risk professional with 4–6 years of experience in global portfolio monitoring, leveraged finance, and high-yield credit analysis. The role requires strong expertise in financial modeling, credit assessment, and handling international portfolios within banking or captive setups. Ideal candidates will have exposure to non-Indian banks and possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Working with onshore teams to monitor credit risk for leveraged finance and high-yield portfolios

2. Preparing detailed credit reports, financial models, and valuation analysis

3. Conducting in-depth financial and business risk assessment of portfolio companies

4. Developing and updating financial projections and credit rating models

5. Presenting credit findings in committees and justifying rating decisions

6. Interacting with clients to discuss analysis, reports, and workflow improvements

7. Supporting negotiation of credit agreements and recommending protective clauses

8. Mentoring junior team members and supporting team capability building

Requirements :

1. 4–6 years of experience in credit risk, credit research, or portfolio monitoring

2. Experience with global portfolios, preferably in captives or non-Indian banks

3. Strong exposure to leveraged loans, high-yield credit, or structured finance

4. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and credit analysis

5. Understanding of leveraged lending guidelines and credit risk frameworks

6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

7. Qualification: CA / MBA / Master's degree (CFA preferred)

8. Immediate to 30 days joiners preferred
