Job Description
You'll play a key role in driving strategic projects and business performance across Monee's regional lending business, leading cross-functional initiatives, translating data into business decisions, and helping shape the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of our lending portfolio.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead cross-functional projects across pricing, credit strategy, customer acquisition, portfolio optimization, and customer lifecycle management. Partner closely with Business, Risk, Product, Operations and relevant teams to drive execution, align stakeholders, and establish scalable operating processes and governance.
- Customer Strategy & Segmentation: Develop customer segmentation frameworks across value, lifecycle, frequency, and risk dimensions to support differentiated commercial strategies, credit policies, and portfolio management decisions.
- Portfolio Performance Management: Own key commercial and portfolio metrics, including Lifetime Value (LTV), Take Rate, unit economics, profitability, and portfolio health. Design reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Business Insights & Analytics: Perform deep-dive analyses on customer behaviour, portfolio performance, and operational effectiveness, translating data into actionable recommendations that drive business and risk decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.
- Min 3 years of experience in business analytics, strategy, commercial analytics, or related roles within digital lending, fintech, BNPL, consumer finance, or other online lending businesses.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using SQL and Excel to analyse large datasets, build business insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Good understanding of lending, portfolio performance, and credit risk metrics, including Lifetime Value (LTV), unit economics, profitability, delinquency, vintage analysis, and roll rates.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations.
- Curious and commercially minded, with an interest in understanding customer behaviour and lending in the regional markets.
