Responsibilities
API Integration & Technical Delivery
- Lead and manage customer API implementation projects, from requirements gathering to golive.
- PerformAPI specification mappingbetween DHL eCommerce systems and customer systems (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Conduct API testing using tools such asBruno, Postman,Swagger, and other API diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve API-related issues usingKibana, logs, error tracking tools, and monitoring dashboards.
- Work closely with internal IT teams to clarify API gaps, system behaviors, and technical dependencies.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Act as theprimary focal pointfor customer IT teams and internal development teams.
- Facilitate technical workshops, integration meetings, and requirement clarification sessions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including regional/global teams.
Project Management
- Plan and manage API onboarding timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Provide regular project updates, documentation, and implementation reports.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests (UAT), certification, and production rollout.
Documentation & Standards
- Prepare and maintain integration documentation, mapping sheets, configuration details, and testing evidence.
- Ensure API implementation complies with DHL standards, security requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in API specification mapping.
- Strong understanding ofRESTful APIs, webhooks, data formats (JSON/XML), and standard authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth, API Keys).
- Experience usingBruno, Postmanor equivalent API testing tools.
- Experience usingKibanaor similar tools for log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong command ofEnglish (speaking, reading, writing)to effectively communicate with multi-national developers and teams.
- Strong coordination skills to act as the focal point for internal and external IT discussions.
- Ability to manage integration timelines, deliverables, and communication flow (project management skills).
- Preferred / Special Scoring
- Experience inDomestic Delivery Service APIoreCommerce Fulfillment APIintegrations.
- Experience with logistics, eCommerce platforms, shipping platforms, OMS/WMS systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
