Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full export customs process for factory products, equipment, and raw materials.
- Review customs declaration documents and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely customs declaration, inspection, and cargo release.
- Maintain accurate inbound, outbound, and inventory records, ensuring consistency between physical stock and customs records, and support customs inspections.
- Classify HS Codes accurately and handle customs-related issues, including HS Code disputes, declaration discrepancies, supplementary documentation, tax payments, and corrective actions.
- Manage logistics expense reimbursement and settlement.
- Monitor updates to Thai customs regulations and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) policies related to origin, and communicate relevant changes within the organization.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external government authorities to ensure compliance with Thai customs regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Customs Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in import/export customs operations, customs declaration, or Free Zone operations in Thailand.
- Strong knowledge of Thai Customs regulations, customs procedures, and HS Code classification.
- Experience with Free Zone/BOI operations will be an advantage.
- Good command of English, with the ability to review import/export documentation and communicate effectively in a business environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to handle customs-related issues independently.
- Registered Customs Broker certification is an advantage.
