Key Responsibilities/ Challenges:
- Manage import and export documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely customs clearance.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth shipment processes.
- Monitor broker performance, review duties/taxes, and support continuous improvement in customs compliance and operations.
- Support audits, regulatory requirements, and maintain proper documentation and SOPs.
- Provide reporting, handle escalations, and proactively communicate shipment updates or disruptions to stakeholders.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customs operations within the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or logistics platforms is preferred.
- At least 3-4 years experience in Freight or Logistics.
- Understanding of customs clearance processes, with the ability to interpret regulations and provide practical guidance to ensure compliant and efficient shipments.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- Have computer skills; MS Office, Outlook
