Here is what you need to know about the job:
Responsible for managing and coordinating customs clearance activities efficiently and in compliance with regulations. Provides expert guidance on import/export rules, tariffs, FTAs, and government licensing requirements. Maintains accurate HTS code databases, conducts internal audits, monitors regulatory changes, and resolves issues with customs authorities and brokerages. Also responsible for implementing policies, training staff, and supporting additional assignments as directed by management.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages and Coordinates Customs clearance activities efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Implements and trains on policies, procedures, and services.
- Update and maintain Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code database to ensure accuracy and compliance with the latest customs regulations and tariff revisions
- Advise the company as an expert on Customs rules and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of regulation of FTA, BOI, IEAT etc and provide guidance import/export regulations, licensing and permit
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with customs regulation
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and provide guidance to the business
- Resolve issues with customs authorities, brokerages and government agency
- Other assignments by the company and management level.
