Responsibilities: Hypercare Security Operations
. Provide Level 2 / Level 3security support during Microsoft Defender Hypercare phase.
. Act as security escalation point forL1 Service Desk and Hypercare teams.
. Monitor Microsoft Defenderdeployment portal for alerts and incidents.
. Validate post‑deployment securitybaselines and policies.
ThreatDetection & Incident Response
. Investigate and remediate alerts onMicrosoft Defender for Endpoint
. Coordinate escalations withMicrosoft Support for deep product issues.
Compliance& Information Protection
. Support and stabilize with MicrosoftPurview:
. DLP policies
. Sensitivity labels
. Retention and auditingconfigurations
. Assist business users and complianceteams during early adoption phase.
Stabilization,Reporting & Handover
. Identify recurring deployment ofDefender agent issues.
. Produce Hypercare security issue logs, trend analysis, and stabilization status.
. Create handover documentation and KT materials for BAU / Managed Services teams.
. Support Hypercare exit and sign‑off criteria.
Skills& Experience Required
. 3-5 years hands‑on experience in MicrosoftDefender Security operations.
. Proven experience supporting post‑migrationor post‑security rollout environments.
. Strong troubleshooting skills acrossidentity, endpoint, email, and data protection.
. Familiarity with enterprise securityframeworks (Zero Trust, ISO 27001, NIST).
. Experience working in banking/ regulated environments is an advantage.
Certifications(Preferred)
. Microsoft Certified: SecurityOperations Analyst (SC‑200)
. Microsoft Certified: MicrosoftDefender
