Data Analytics & Dashboard Reporting Analyst (Fully Remote - 12 Month Contract)
An analytics function supporting cybersecurity, operational, and enterprise reporting needs is hiring a dashboarding and BI specialist. You'll turn business questions into clear, decision-ready dashboards, working closely with data engineers to make sure the datasets behind them hold up.
What you'll be doing
- Designing semantic models, data marts, and reusable datasets for the wider analytics team
- Building interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Domo
- Partnering with data engineers on requirements, transformations, and ingestion logic
- Turning business questions into metrics, KPIs, and visualizations that actually drive decisions
- Setting up automated reporting pipelines and scheduled refreshes
- Working with Snowflake or similar cloud warehouses to prepare optimized datasets
- Profiling, validating, and quality-checking data before it reaches a dashboard
- Documenting dashboards, data definitions, and reporting logic for the wider business
- Supporting ad hoc analysis and executive-level reporting
What you'll bring
- Hands-on Domo experience (cards, datasets, Magic ETL, Beast Modes)
- 3+ years in data analytics, BI development, or reporting
- Strong Power BI skills — DAX, Power Query, data modeling
- Confidence gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders
- Solid SQL for querying Snowflake or similar cloud warehouses
- A good eye for visualization best practice and KPI design
- Comfort with semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet)
- Intermediate-to-advanced English
Nice to have
- Understanding of role-based access control and secure data handling
- Exposure to dbt, Airflow, or other ELT/data modeling tools
- Light Python for data prep or analysis
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or operational telemetry
- Experience in governed, enterprise reporting environments
