Data & Analytics Engineer

About the Job

The Data & Analytics Engineer role is a position for international products, possessing an agile mindset you will be willing to work in a volatile environment. You will fit into a diverse team of English speaking developers, QA Personnel, and Business Analysts and will be implementing and maintaining one or more international products. Your knowledge of Database Management, and scripting ability (SQL, Python) as well as significant exposure to using these technologies to develop data-oriented solutions will allow you to play a key role in your team.

Tasks

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines (event-driven and batch) for mobile analytics data.

• Integrate and optimize data from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for mobile applications.

• Apply strong knowledge in at least two of the following: SQL, Python, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Code Generation, pyTest.

• Perform database design and data modeling (dimensional and normalized).

• Develop SQL packages, procedures, and functions for analytics data processing.

• Build and maintain Python-based data transformation and enrichment solutions.

• Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD automation.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data or pipeline issues efficiently.

• Work with Kafka, Bash scripting, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker) when required.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle and advanced SQL programming.

• Strong Python scripting and data development skills.

• Proven experience in ETL, Data Warehousing, and Dimensional Modeling.

• Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics).

• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in English (oral and written).

• Ability to mentor and guide other developers.
