Responsible for logistics, asset, and inventory management of regional IDC, including managing a team of data center asset engineers within the cluster.
Be the point of escalation for any asset and supply chain operational-related matters.
Perform regional asset management workflows, influence cross-functional teams on process gaps and improvement.
Perform asset operations including inbound receiving, transfers, stock distribution, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), and decommission of Data Centers and warehouses.
Support the auditing process, lead cycle count activities, and ensure adherence to all financial and compliance standards.
Support delivery operations involving system integrators, data centers, warehouses, and facilitate communications with logistics service providers and suppliers.
Work closely with datacenter operation team, network, security, and platform teams to implement changes, maintain asset accuracy, report incidents, and analyze discrepancies among physical assets, system records, and financial records.
Manage regional asset teams, ensuring effective supervision and maintenance of assets, and optimize resource allocation and asset utilization.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in a technical or business field.
3+ years supply chain or logistics experience.
Experienced in managing asset related daily operational activities.
Experience collaborating with individuals across internal and external organizations, and other geographies.
Must be hands-on and willing to roll up sleeve to support operational activities.
Experience with data center hardware is preferred, including servers and network equipment.
Good analytical skills to query on data sources and able to gather insights from complex data.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25% to 50%+ at times).
Bilingual in Chinese is a must as the role needs to coordinate with the HQ in China.
