The role plays a critical part in enabling efficient, reliable, and real-time management of all data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design & Review

  • Review and validate the design of DCIM/BMS systems, ensuring compliance with operational requirements, industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO/IEC), and the project's performance criteria.
  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, IT/Network teams, design consultants, and vendors to integrate BMS/DCIM seamlessly with all facility systems (power, cooling, fire, security, etc.).
  • Participate in solution architecture design for system scalability, redundancy, and integration with third-party platforms (e.g., CMMS, EMS, PMS, NMS).

  • Validate sensor data accuracy, alarm thresholds, system responsiveness, and interface usability.
  • Ensure final commissioning supports real-time visibility and actionable insights for operations teams.

4. Quality Assurance & System Performance

  • Ensure systems are configured to support proactive monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and energy efficiency analysis.
  • Conduct system audits and quality inspections during project execution to meet project SLAs and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure cybersecurity standards are upheld in network-connected BMS/DCIM environments.

5. Documentation & Handover

  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of system architecture, points lists, device addressing, configuration files, and SOPs.
  • Facilitate end-user training for operations and maintenance teams.
  • Support transition to steady-state operations with post-handover support and troubleshooting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in BMS/DCIM systems for mission-critical facilities or data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Johnson Controls) and DCIM platforms (e.g., Nlyte, Sunbird, StruxureWare, Trellis).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols: Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, OPC, etc.
  • Experience with T&C processes and working with commissioning agents or 3rd party verifiers.
  • Understanding of facility operations, MEP infrastructure, and IT network topology.
