About The Role

The Safety Manager is to lead and implement health, safety, and environmental programs across mission-critical data center operations and projects. This role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing operational and construction-related risks, and supporting safe, reliable data center environments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead HSE programs and initiatives across data center operations, maintenance, and construction activities.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage safety risks associated with critical facilities, including electrical systems, mechanical infrastructure, contractor activities, and commissioning works.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Track HSE performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, project, and vendor teams to ensure safe work practices and permit-to-work compliance.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness programs.
  • Support client reporting and ensure alignment with global EHS standards and best practices.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of HSE experience within data centers, mission-critical facilities, construction, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, and contractor safety management.
  • Experience managing high-risk activities such as electrical work, confined space entry, working at heights, lifting operations, and commissioning activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
