Austell Group is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer – Azure & SSIS to support the rebuild and migration of an enterprise data warehouse into Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who has strong experience in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and Azure data engineering
The role will involve both:
- Legacy support: Supporting and troubleshooting existing SQL Server / SSIS processes that currently support business reporting.
- Azure development: Building Azure data pipelines, developing cloud data warehouse structures, migrating legacy ETL logic, validating outputs and documenting technical processes.
Key skills required:

This is a technical execution role suited to someone who can build, troubleshoot, reconcile and document reliable data solutions. Experience: Over 5 years relevant experience Candidates with experience in SSIS to Azure migration, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server data warehousing, or BI data engineering would be well suited.

- Minimum bachelor's qualification in one of the following fields:

- Applied Mathematics / Statistics Advantageous
Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Databricks certification
