Data Engineer (Thai Speaker)

Languages: Fluent Thai (mandatory) and good English communication skills
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a large enterprise environment in Bangkok. The ideal candidate is a Thai national or fluent Thai speaker with strong expertise in modern data engineering technologies, particularly DBT, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, and Streamlit. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable data solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Thai national or fluent Thai speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Solid expertise in Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills for data transformation, optimization, and analytics.
- Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Hands-on experience developing data applications and dashboards using Streamlit.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data architecture
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data modeling
- Data warehousing and analytics platforms
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Data Engineer - DBT - (Thai Speaker prefered )
- Experience working in large multinational corporations (MNCs) or global enterprise organizations.
- Candidates from well-established international companies are strongly preferred. Profiles primarily from startup environments will be considered less favorably.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data governance and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data engineering best practices and modern frameworks.
- Experience supporting regional or global stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or other large enterprise sectors is an advantage.
- Excellence in Thai with good speaking English
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have a strong enterprise data engineering background with deep technical expertise in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, Streamlit, and Power BI, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience working in multinational organizations and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms will be highly valued. This projected will be 5+ years up!
