Mid-level Data Engineer (Financial Reporting)
Location: Bangkok, Thailand / BTS Area / (Hybrid Working)
We are looking for a Mid-level Data Engineer to support our Financial Operations team by building reliable financial data pipelines and reporting systems.
You will play a key role in transforming transactional data into accurate financial insights used across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, Dagster, and Apache Airflow
- Transform raw transactional data from MySQL/PostgreSQL into structured datasets in the data warehouse
- Design and maintain financial data marts to support reporting and analysis
- Develop and automate financial reports (sales, reconciliation, settlement)
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability across financial datasets
- Collaborate with Financial Operations to translate business requirements into data models and reports
- Monitor and operate data workflows within the AWS cloud environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Data Engineering, BI Engineering, or related analytical roles
- Strong skills in SQL and Python for data processing
- Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools (Dagster or Apache Airflow)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
