Data Engineer (Snowflake & SSIS) - Bangkok (Local candidates)

Role: Data Engineer Snowflake & SSIS

Location: Bangkok

Duration: Long term contract

Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to address a critical need within our Asian division. This role focuses on designing and implementing interfaces between key systems such as PLM, TMS, ERPs, and other domains like financial flows. It also, and primarily, includes ingesting data from the mentioned source systems into our Snowflake and/or Fabric environment for various methods of consumption. The successful candidate will ensure seamless single & bi-directional data exchanges and contribute to a more interconnected and efficient system landscape.

Scope of Work:

Design and develop interfaces between systems (e.g., PLM, TMS, ERP, LIS).

Design and develop interfaces of data from e.g. the source systems above into our data storage.

Analyze and improve existing interfaces to strengthen system connectivity and performance.

Drive the integration of additional systems into the network as required.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment of integration solutions.

Specifications:

Proficiency in Informatica Power Center and SSIS: Strong expertise in designing and managing data integration workflows.

Proficiency in Snowflake and/or MS Fabric: Expertise in designing and building data products to be made available for consumption by business expertise.

System Integration Experience: Proven track record in interfacing various systems, including PLM, TMS, ERP (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, QAD) will be additional asset.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex, interconnected environments.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compliance with industry standards for data security and privacy.

Knowledge of cloud-based integration platforms and APIs.
