RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with business users, Data Stewards, SMEs, and Group Data COE to turn business data quality needs into technical rules and implement them in Informatica Cloud.
- Design, maintain, and improve data quality rules, metrics, and standards for profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and continuous monitoring.
- Help operationalize Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and embed preventive and detective controls across the data lifecycle.
- Analyze data flows and technical lineage to identify root causes, understand business impact, and recommend where controls should be applied.
- Monitor data quality results, investigate issues, and partner with stakeholders to support effective remediation and continuous improvement.
- Support the rollout of data governance frameworks, including policies, glossary, metadata standards, lineage, and controls, to strengthen trusted data use.
- Promote strong data stewardship and governance practices that support business operations, compliance, analytics, and AI transformation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data quality, data governance, data engineering, or related roles.
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding data quality concepts, data observability, and agile ways of working.
- Experience with Informatica Cloud is preferred. Familiarity with Databricks/UDP, AS400, Salesforce, or similar platforms will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud services, APIs, and data structures that support analytics, governance, and AI use cases.
